Learning to write a e-mail

 Kia Ora bloggers!

Today we learned how to write a professional email.

Our first task was to write an email to our homebase teacher about weather or not we would like to have pets on public transport. I said yes because when I go on a bus in the future I would like to bring my dog with me.

This is my e-mail I sent to Miss Roberts. I have labeled all of the different parts on a professional email.

Have you written a professional email before? If you have who did you email?
Ka kite see you next time!

  1. Hey you,
As a grown up, I wrote professional emails all day long, (although some aren’t as professional as yours!). It’s really important to be able to write a proper professional email and you’ve done a great job here. I’m loving the labels that show you know the correct structure. Nice work!

  4. Kia ora Izzy!
Wow, this is an amazing piece of work & I found it great to learn about how to write a professional email. You have clearly understood the elements needed to write a email. Make sure that you check and edit your work before you post it on your blog. I noticed some minor spelling mistakes but other than that, this is a great example of a quality blog post. I definitely agree with you with having pets on public transport. You listed some great reasons why pets should be aloud on public transport, and my favourite reason was that blind people need their guide dogs to come on to look after them.
    Blog you later,
    Lucinda!

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - Begin with a greeting. Talk about something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language.
3. Something helpful - Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
Encourage me to make another post.
